The first meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states under the Kyrgyz Chairmanship was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, from October 14-17, 2025.

The event was attended by the national coordinators of ten member states, representatives of the SCO Secretariat, and the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed the plan for the Kyrgyz Republic’s chairmanship of the Organization for 2025-2026. A rich exchange of views took place on improving the Organization’s activities, preparations for the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the SCO Member States (Moscow, November of this year), and other events dedicated to enhancing practical cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
