On June 26, 2025, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Akhmad Saidmurodzoda took part in a panel session of the Eurasian Economic Forum via video link on the topic “Dialogue of Interstate Associations: Conjugation of Economic Potentials and Deepening of Trade and Economic Cooperation”.

During the event, issues of developing interaction and synchronizing the efforts of regional organizations in order to support the economic development of the Eurasian region were discussed.

In his speech, A. Saidmurodzoda noted that the SCO is an active participant in the large-scale initiatives unfolding in Eurasia. In this context, the participants were presented with an appeal from the heads of SCO member states to international organizations operating in the Asia-Pacific region with a call to begin creating a partnership network of multilateral associations in order to form a cooperative system of pan-regional security and stability in the region. World Unity for a Just Peace, Harmony and Development Initiative of the SCO was also presented with an emphasis on its economic component.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus N. Petkevich, Chairman of the EEC Board B. Sagintayev, CIS Secretary General S. Lebedev, CICA Secretary General K. Sarybay, State Secretary of the Standing Committee of the Union State S. Glazyev and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation D. Volvach also took part in the plenary session and made speeches.
